Every bottle boasts impeccable balance and luscious aromatics while maintaining the fun, casual, and fruit-forward character that makes Beaujolais Nouveau unique.  A naturally fermented Gamay grape juice, bottled early to be enjoyed!

ChateauFontanesRed.jpg

2015 Château Fontanès La Petite Serine Languedoc AOP

Syrah, Mourvèdre and Cinsault from estate-owned, organically farmed vineyards in the Languedoc Region of France. Aged for 6 months and bottled unfined and unfiltered. Make no mistake, raw terroir and spicy garrigue abound in these wines, with rich, juicy fruit and silky tannins.

PavillionDaugay.jpg

2015 Pavillon Daugay Saint-Émilion Grand Cru (Merlot Blend)

Located at the foot of the slope in Saint-Emilion, Daugay's vines have superb sun exposure conducive to excellent ripening. The 40-year old vines draw their strength and vitality from this outstanding terroir. Combining the coolness of clay and the filtering capacities of limestone, the soil offers just the right conditions for the various grape varieties. The ideal proportions of clay and limestone provide excellent natural drainage as well as relative freshness and all necessary trace elements.

2015 Domaine Raymond Usseglio & Fils Châteauneuf-du-Pape Cuvée Girard
(Red Rhone Blend)

96 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate >>
The stunning 2015 Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee Girard is blended exclusively for the American importer, Peter Weygandt, and bottled unfiltered. It's about 85% Grenache, with the balance made up of Mourvèdre, Counoise and Cinsault. What makes it so compelling is the combination of fragrant raspberries, sinewy tannins and silky finish, all of which suggest it will age well for 20 years after the vintage. It's powerful, concentrated and yet feels fresh and lively.

2017 Domaine Tempier Bandol Rosé, Provence, France

New vintage of the iconic Domaine Tempier Bandol Rosé, praised by Robert Parker as
"the greatest rosé in the world!"

Bleu Cellar is proud to announce the availability of Domaine Tempier Bandol Rosé:

DomaineGirard_Sancerre.jpg

2016 Domaine Girard, La Garenne Sancerre

The Girards come from several generations of winemakers in the tiny village of Chaudoux, located a few miles northwest of the town of Sancerre. Their La Garenne cuvée comes from a 2.5-hectare vineyard of that name, a plot on a steep east-facing slope with a very rocky limestone soil. The chalky soil brings out the characteristic flinty, mineral and green notes of Sauvignon Blanc. On La Garenne's well-drained, warm slopes, the grapes achieve exceptional ripeness and fruit.

2000 Chateau Gombaude-Guillot, Pomerol, Right-Bank Bordeaux

A classic Pomerol - rich and supple with all of the finesse and grace, but more like Petrus style. This is also one of the very few Biodynamic and Organic growers in Bordeaux and also an amazing value wine! Powerful, refined, delightful 15 years old beauty!  The wine shows a dark, black crimson color. A soft "merlot" nose brings waves of candied raspberries, cherries, hints of olives and herbs and black tea. The mid palate is textured, rich, delicate, and even creamy, showing very rounded merlot softness and a very caressing mouthfeel. The finish is near perfect in balance and your palate asks for more.

2012 Domaine de Durban, Gigondas, Southern Rhône

70% Grenache, 30% Syrah. "Kirschy" red berries and floral oils on the perfumed nose. This Gigondas is generous and fruity, medium bodied wine showing very good depth with natural concentration on the palate. Delicately spicy it leaves an impression of rounded suppleness in the mouth with a strong finishing punch, supple tannins and candied red berries.

2012 Domaine Jean Marc Vincent, Santenay, Vieilles Vignes

Jean-Marc Vincent is, with no doubt, the most talented winemaker of the Santenay's appellation. Over the years, he has refined his style and offers now wines with a level of class and harmony very rarely found; keeping at the same time the sincerity and natural expression of its terroir.  Remarkable! This red Santenay Village, coming from vines over 50 years old, is ready to drink, sexy, pretty, with soft tannins but also structured and balanced.  It could convince any Burgundy detractor and make every Burgundy lover very happy. A must have!

2013 Château Fontanes "Les Traverses de Fontanes" Blanc Vin de Pays d'Oc France

Cyriaque Rozier, highly acclaimed winemaker, makes his own wine under the label Château Fontanès in Pic St-Loup in the Languedoc (Southern France). His Traverses de Fontanes white is drinking like a walk through the Languedoc countryside. A golden color like a late afternoon sun, a nose of fennel, thyme and Jasmin, on the palate ripe pears and pineapple with an elegant and tense finish. The combination of its three grapes makes the magic happened: Aromatic expression of the Rolle (Vermentino), structure and acidity of the Chenin Blanc and roundness of the Clairette. It gives us a melony, snappy, bright, and clean, delightful everyday white wine.

2011 Domaine Catherine & Pierre Breton Bourgueil "Franc de Pied" Loire Valley France

This is a very rare ungrafted Cabernet Franc from one of the Loire's best sources, Pierre & Catherine Breton, international icons for the natural wine movement. If you ever wondered how the French wine tasted before phylloxera, this is it.

This wine is made from the fruit of ungrafted vines, known as franc de pied, from Breton's Les Galichets vineyard. Pierre Breton (unfortunately) expects this 12 year old parcel to eventually succumbs to phylloxera . He also believes that phylloxera doesn't seem to affect local ungrafted vines until they're at least 20 years old which would give us another 8 vintages of this beauty!

2012 Hadenfig Pinot Noir Williamette Valley "Cancilla Vineyard" Oregon

"We continue to be impressed by this cool, late ripening site in the Northern Willamette Valley. Dark cherry and raspberry mingle with dried herbs, cocao powder and subtle sweet oak, finishing with fine, layered tannins. 148 cases produced."  Moderate reddish purple color in the glass. Nicely perfumed with bright aromas of black cherry, black raspberry, dried rose petals and spice. Delicious mid to full-bodied flavors of black cherry and black raspberry that fills the mouth with goodness and carries over to the captivating finish. This beauty has the structure for the long haul and elegant oak harmony.  Score: 93. - Source Winery

2012 Domaine du Vieux Telegraphe Chateauneuf-du-Pape

93-95 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

The top wine of the estate, the 2012 Vieux Telegraphe Chateauneuf du Pape (which is always a blend of 65% Grenache, 15% Syrah, 15% Mourvedre and 5% Cinsault and other grapes, from 65-year-old vines) is a classic example of the cuvee and possesses gorgeous aromatics (kirsch, garrigue, big minerality and background meatiness), medium to full-bodied richness and a firm, tannic spine. As is common, it will require a handful of years in the cellar to come around and have 15+ years of longevity. Drink 2016-2027.

2012 Domaine de la Janasse Chateauneuf-du-Pape Cuvee Vieilles Vignes

95-98 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

Most likely one of the top 2-3 wines produced, the 2012 Chateauneuf du Pape Vieilles Vignes is a rough blend of 80-85% Grenache, 10% Mourvedre (which was harvested October 10) and the balance Syrah, that hit 15.4% natural alcohol. Seeing the same elevage as the 2011, it sports an inky purple color as well as spectacular array of black and blue fruits, violets, liquid flowers and underbrush to go with an energetic, seamless and full-bodied profile on the palate. Lighter weight than the 2007 and 2010, it possesses notable freshness, purity and elegance. It should benefit from short-term cellaring and thrill for upward of two decades. Drink 2016-2032.

2013 Domaine Roger Neveu Sancerre "Clos des Bouffants" Loire Valley France

This Sauvignon Blanc comes from an extremely steep slope (40-50%) with full south exposure where the chalky soils typical of the region produce Sauvignon Blanc of the highest order. The vineyard site is called Clos des Bouffants. The wine is a reflection of its exceptional terroir, and benefit from a flawless vinification.  Seductive on the nose and on the palate with notes of hazelnuts, nicely balanced between freshness, fruit and suppleness. Delicate, elegant, mineral, and complex with a surprising persistent finish. A superb Sancerre.

2010 Chateau Tour Bayard Montagne St-Emilion  Right-Bank Bordeaux France

Located in Montagne-Saint-Émilion, the 40 years old vines of Fanny Richard-Nicoletti are rooted in clay and limestone soils in a perfectly exposed natural amphitheater benefiting from a tempered oceanic meso climate. Grown organically, harvested by hand, all parcels are vinified separately to produce final "cuvée" made of 70% merlot, 25% cabernet franc and 5% malbec. The result is a powerful but elegant and distinctive wine, rich and complex, with ripe red berries and plums, spices and some licorice. Showing a dark color due to the presence of Malbec in the blend, the wine is supple and accessible, finishing with ripe tannins.

2009 Col Solare Winery Columbia Valley Red Wine Napa California

93+pts(WA) The most structured and tannic of the lineup and a blend of 73% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc and a splash of Malbec. Offering up ripe, decadently styled aromas of blackberry, kirsch, licorice and classic Red Mountain crushed stone-like minerality (42% of the blend is from Red Mountain) on the nose, it is a big rich 2009 that has solid mid-palate depth and layers of fruit that only partially cover full-throttle tannin.  Needing time to round into shape, it will benefit from another 2-3 years of bottle- age and have a solid 15+ years of overall longevity. Drink 2015-2024. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

2013 Yves Leccia Domaine d'E Croce Patrimonio Rosé Corse France

From the Corsican wine maestro Yve Leccia: This beautiful rosé is made from 100% Nelliuccu, one of the traditional Corsican grape, growing here on clay-limestone and schist soil. This classy wine is orange pink in color with a delicate and floral nose. It shows freshness, elegance and purity with a smooth and sweet fruit mix of peach, strawberry, watermelon, enhanced by the very distinctive "maquis" notes. Seems light but comes back with tenacity, has a very pleasant texture and some mineral salinity coming up in the long round finish. Light and refreshing? For sure but with much more. Is the barbecue ready yet?

2012 Bodegas Zarate Albariño Rías Baixas  Spain

Zarate is a family-owned estate located in the Village of Meano, found in the heart of the Salnez Valley, which is a part of the Spanish Rias-Baixas Denominacion de Origen. The winery was founded in 1707 by Diego Zarate y Murga. The Zarate Family has been tending to the winery and the vineyards for the past seven generations; they are the first authentic organic growers in Rias Baixas. They produce a pure and unadulterated Albariño fruit that is strongly mineral, very focused and tight and impressively persistent. Zarate is to Abariñno what Didier Dagueneau is to Sauvignon Blanc, simply amazing.

2013 Domaine Maestracci E Prove Blanc Vin-de-Corse-Calve  Corsica France

This beautiful and delicate wine from Corsica, made from Vermentinu (Vermentino) is produced from the granite soils of a high plateau, in the foothills of Monte Grossu Mountains. The vines are influenced by the iodized ocean breeze, the granitic soil, and the wild Corsican maquis growing all around. The result is a distinctive crisp, light and delicate white with flavors of peach, citrus and fresh cut herbs, with hints of orange rind and spring flowers. Remarkably fresh and lively, this wine drinks wonderfully on its own and also makes a lovely partner to everything from the ocean, as well as poultry, green salads and platter of green vegetables.
